Did you know this about Rob Iverson?

Cle Elum has always been a place where people quietly pursue their passions, whether in their careers or creative outlets. Our community is built on supporting one another, and that’s why we love showcasing the many talents of our locals. Today, we’d like to introduce you to Rob Iverson. You may know him as a real estate agent, but Rob has also written a children’s book, The Adventures of Bungee and Joe.

Rob’s latest creation is an original and heartfelt story about two best friends—a retired racehorse named Bungee and his cowboy owner, Joe. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Washington coastline, this tale takes us on an adventurous journey across America. When Bungee runs off after a close encounter with a wild elk, Joe’s determination to find his beloved companion teaches us the beauty of friendship, loyalty, and the special bond between humans and animals. As you follow them on their journey, you see the bond between them and the lengths they go for one another. It’s a simple, touching tale about friendship and loyalty, which is a message worth spreading and it’s perfect for kids ages 5-10.

What makes this book extra special is the hand-drawn illustrations, done by one of Rob’s close friends. It took over a year to complete the artwork, which adds a personal touch to every page.

Rob’s story reflects the warmth and creativity that runs deep in our community. People here support each other, whether it’s through a project like this or just a friendly chat in passing.

If you’d like to check out The Adventures of Bungee and Joe, it’s available on Amazon here, and you can follow Rob on Instagram at @rob.iverson.author to stay updated on his future adventures with Bungee and Joe. There is a link to the book trailer video on his instagram as well which is pretty awesome!

It’s amazing to see all the different ways our friends and neighbors share their talents. Rob’s book is just one example of the creative energy we have here in Cle Elum. Another reason I love living here so much.

Thanks Rob!
